Today social apps are designed for ordinary material; however, most people commonly acknowledge their news feeds as dull. Driftr creates a stream of interesting ideas — from anyone and anywhere — to inspire refreshing thought. We call it the Social Journal.

Driftr is the alternative to social media. We ask you to launch your personal wisdom, moments of insight or profound ideas, as drifts. These drifts make up a collective pool of thoughts for you to explore. Glide through our clean interface and chose to like or dislike drifts. When a drift receives too many dislikes, we remove it. There are no usernames, drifts are judged only on the quality of their content. Driftr aims to create a progressive and evolving pool of thought.

Features to this effect include:

- A Crisp Interface: Pilot through drifts with the flick of a finger — up to like, down to dislike, to the side if you can’t decide
- No Usernames: Feel free to post anything you find worth reading, drifts are judged purely on content
- A Dynamic Pool: We remove drifts when they receive too many dislikes, which keeps the collection continually progressive — Driftr is a space for only the best ideas
-GPS Location: Enjoy stumbling across bits of wisdom from anywhere and everywhere
-Simple Scoring: Your score reflects all the drifts you launch, it changes as others come across your ideas. How intriguing are your thoughts?

What exactly is a drift? A drift is anything worth reading. You might craft a poem, reflect on the day, crack a joke, ask a question or critique the status quo. Use Driftr to ponder life. Tap into your creativity and imagination; make your drifts as fascinating as you can. If you don’t, we have to delete it. The golden rule: drift what you are proud of.

Be rewarded for your thoughtfulness. Think it, Drift it…
